Dennis “Denny” has extensive experience in the areas of Business and Real Estate Law.

Legal Practice

Denny represents businesses in high level negotiations, large real estate transactions and funding, corporate governance matters, and mergers and acquisitions. With extensive experience in business and real estate law, he excels in business formations, transactions, LLC and corporate law, corporate governance, and commercial and residential real estate.

Business Experience

As a business executive, Denny brings over 25 years of expertise in capital strategy, business and real estate funding, business transactions, and business development. He has held key leadership roles such as CEO, CFO, General Manager, and Director in various industries, including financial services, construction contracting, real estate development, manufacturing, service, and restaurant management.

Denny is currently taking a leave of absence from the Firm to serve as a Mission Leader for his Church.  He sits on numerous boards of directors for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. He has served as a Maricopa County Supervisor and has been honored by several community service organizations for his voluntary aid. His board memberships have included the East Valley Partnership, United Food Bank, Mesa United Way, and the Banner Desert Advisory Board. He has also been a member of Greater Phoenix Leadership and a dedicated Rotarian, having previously served as president of the Mesa Baseline Rotary Club.

Fluent in Japanese, Denny maintains business relationships within the financial services industry in Japan.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate – Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations Brigham Young University
  • Denny completed Mediation Skills Training, participated in the Mediation Clinic, and served as a Mediator in the Maricopa County Justice Courts. Denny was the recipient of the Dean’s Award for the 2008 graduating class at Arizona State University’s law school and earned Pro Bono Distinction.
