Law Practice

Richard “Rick” Arnold has over 13 years of attorney experience in real estate and business law. He has significant real estate experience including all aspects of acquisition and contracts, land use and development, and litigation. He has successfully represented land developers, municipalities, real estate brokers, lenders, borrowers, investors, and individuals in both simple and complex real estate developments and business transactions. Mr. Arnold also practices law in the areas of personal injury, probate, employment, and general litigation.

Education

Mr. Arnold is a graduate of Brigham Young University (B.A., Political Science, 1994) and the University of Utah College of Law (J.D. 1997), where he was a senior staff and published member of the Utah Law Review. After law school, Mr. Arnold worked as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice Richard C. Howe at the Utah Supreme Court (1998-1999). In August 2000, he received post-graduate training and Diploma from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Since 2000, Mr. Arnold has worked primarily in the private practice of law, and as an owner, member, and consultant to a number of real estate development companies; he joined Huber Barney as a partner in May 2011.

Bar

Mr. Arnold is a member of the Utah State Bar and licensed to practice law in Utah state and federal district courts. He is in the process of applying for membership and licensing with the State Bar of Arizona.
